Majura Pines

A pine plantation popular for mountain bike riders

Majura Pines is suitable for:

  • walking and running on two-way loop trails
  • horse riding
  • mountain bike riding
  • orienteering

Majura Pines has some of the oldest and most famous mountain bike trails in Canberra, providing opportunities for skills progression from beginner trails through to intermediate and advanced cross country and downhill trails. Cross country mountain bike trails are two-way and walkers and runners can use the cross country trails. Downhill trails are one-way only for mountain bike riders.

The Majura Pines Trail Alliance (MPTA) helps maintain and improve the trails at Majura Pines.

Dogs are welcome off-leash unless signposted otherwise. Dogs must be under effective control at all times.
