TrailRider all-terrain wheelchair

Our all-terrain wheelchair – or the 'TrailRider' – means mobility-impaired visitors can get out there and enjoy the beauty of our parks and reserves.

The 'TraiRider' is free to hire from the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve Visitor Centre. Don't worry though, you are free to explore any of our parks and reserves with the all-terrain wheelchair, not just Tidbinbilla.

Two or three 'porters' are required to guide the chair, which is easy to manoeuvre, can travel on semi-rough tracks and can be disassembled to fit in the back of a large car.

Before venturing out to a park or reserve, you will need undertake a quick induction session on the chair. Helmets can be borrowed from the Visitor's Centre but remember to pack one if you can, along with other parks essentials like water, snacks and sunscreen!

If you want to book the TrailRider, give the Tidbinbilla Visitors Centre a call on 02 6207 7921.
