Fifteen reserves across the ACT will be closed during kangaroo management operations from 9 June to 31 July 2026. These reserves will be closed from 6pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday. Find out more at the Kangaroo Management Program Data webpage.

Cotter Campground will be closed for bathroom refurbishments from Tuesday 2 June to Thursday 25 June. The campground is expected to reopen on the evening of Friday 26 June. There will be no access to the Cotter Campground during this period.

The Gibraltar Falls viewing platform and walking track remain closed until later in 2026 to allow completion of signage and visitor safety infrastructure improvements at the site.

Essential upgrades and realignment work is underway on the Mount Painter Summit Track. Works are expected to last for about 6-8 weeks. The Summit Track will be closed to the public while the work takes place.

Booroomba Rocks Road in Namadgi National Park will be closed from 11 May to 26 June 2026 for essential road maintenance works. The road is expected to reopen on 27 June. Old Boboyan Road will be closed from 30 May to 19 June 2026 for essential maintenance works. The road is expected to reopen on 20 June 2026. Visitors will not be able to access Yankee Hat walking track or the Gudgenby Bush Regeneration Circuit via the Old Boboyan Road for the duration of the works.
