Yarralumla Bay District Park

A scenic park on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin

Yarralumla Bay is a park on the southern foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin between Orana Bay and Blue Gum Point.

The location is ideal for enjoying the waters of the lake with boating, swimming, paddling, or simply strolling on the water's edge. Shaded picnic areas are connected to a popular commuter and recreational cycleway/walkway with information and directional signage around the lake.

The swimming area has a sandy beach and enclosures for swimming and paddling.

There are sailing and rowing clubhouses, launching ramps, piers and a wharf in the western part of the area.

Dogs are welcome in on-leash and off-leash areas as outlined on the dog exercise area map. They are prohibited in some areas, including within 10 metres of a public play space, fireplace or barbecue in use. Please ensure dogs remain in control at all times and clean up after your dog.
