A shady playground rich in 19th century history

Forde Heritage Park is positioned across 1.42 hectares of space with a large playground surrounded by shady trees in the centre.

The shaded playground includes swings, slides and climbing frames. There is a covered picnic area, toilets and drinking fountains.

There is also a cycling and walking trail which features outdoor fitness equipment spread out along the trail.

Dogs are welcome on-leash as outlined on the dog exercise area map. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of a public play space, fireplace or barbecue in use. Dogs can be exercised off-leash in the fenced dog park on Amy Ackman Drive.
