It offers basic facilities and is unsuitable for campervans and caravans. Camping fees apply.

For time immemorial Ngunnawal people have maintained a tangible and intangible cultural, social, environmental, spiritual, and economic connection to these lands and waters.

Prepare by:

understanding safety
checking alerts and road conditions
making a campground booking online

Remember:

bring your own drinking water
abide by campfire usage guidelines:
- bring your firewood with you or purchase it from the Namadgi Visitor Centre
- only use constructed fireplaces provided
- do not light a fire a on a day of total fire ban
- keep 3 metres around the fireplace clear of flammable material
- remain in attendance at all times
- completely extinguish the fire before leaving
you can bring your own gas barbecue or fuel stove
mobile phone reception is unreliable
drones are not permitted to be used in Namadgi National Park

Drop into the Namadgi Visitor Centre.

How to get there

Mount Clear Campground is 44.5 km from the Namadgi Visitor Centre via Naas and Boboyan Roads. Access is via an unsealed road. Road may be closed depending on the weather.
