Northern Border Campground

An isolated campground on the Canberra Centenary Trail

Bookings are essential.

Bookings for community groups, schools and other organised groups (including commercial operators) require a permit. Please contact Namadgi Visitor Centre for more information on 02 6237 5307.

This campground can only be accessed by walking or cycling (6.5km). There is no vehicle access.

The Northern Border Campground is an isolated, basic, bush camping site located near the border of NSW, north of Gungahlin, on the Canberra Centenary Trail. It can only be accessed by walking or riding the trail between Forde and Hall Village (Section 2 or Section 3).

There is space for 2 tents undercover if required.

No dogs or horses allowed.
