Miowera Forest

A pine plantation located near Paddys River

Miowera Forest is suitable for:

  • bushwalking on formed management trails
  • cycling on formed management trails
  • horse riding on formed management trails (a booking is essential to gain gate entry)
  • car rallies and motorbike use on formed management trails (booking is essential)

The forest is not easily accessed but is regularly used as a car rally location by local clubs. It is also used for horse riding and limited stock grazing until the trees are more established.

Facilities such as toilets and barbecues are available at Point Hut Crossing.

A permit is required to use the forest for a large or commercial event.

Dogs are welcome on-leash.
